Looking for a forever home for our (will be neutered January 24th) male standard poodle, he's a registered sable standard poodle he's 16 months old and weighs 65 pounds. Up to date on all vaccinations including bordetella and rabies.
It breaks our hearts to have to find him a new home but life has have taken a change and we can no longer keep him. He has some great points and some challenges, he struggles with separation anxiety in response he gets jumpy and pushy. So would be best suited in a home without small children or fragile adults. He's very smart and knows lots of commands, he also thinks he's a lap dog. His loose leash walking is being worked on, we live in the country so he walks himself, he stays close to humans and comes when called. He is not kennelled trained, he will go in kennels but if he thinks you are leaving him he panics and out he comes. He good with other dogs but with small dogs he forgets his size. He does have a big bark tho that can sound scary. He loves water, and car rides. He is booked for January 24th to be neutered.
