Lodge Services Coordinator – Full Time Position

Is seeking an individual to fill a full time position located in our facility at the Pleasant View Lodge in Mayerthorpe.

Lodge Service Coordinator – Full Time
Description: Directly reporting to the Site Manager, the Lodge Services Coordinator is responsible to assist the Site Manager in areas of;
• Administration
• Service Coordination
• Purchasing/Inventory Management
• Menu Facilitation

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
This position entails a high level of interaction with seniors, fast-paced environment; working under pressure; repetitive tasks; attention to detail; combination of sitting, standing, walking and requires physical endurance (e.g. maneuvering heavy pots, flour bags, and supply boxes).

Personal Suitability
The applicant must show initiative, effective interpersonal skills, flexibility and be a team player. Excellent oral communication, Resident focus, interpersonal awareness, dependability, judgement, values and ethics; reliability as well as organizational skills are an asset.

Required Knowledge
• Knowledge of the Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Eating
• Knowledge of food ratio guidelines based on dietary requirements for seniors
• Demonstrates an understanding of generally accepted commercial cleaning practices
• Demonstrates leadership skills, organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal skills

Education and Experience Requirements
• High School Diploma
• Food Safe Certificate
• WHMIS
• Proficient computer skills
• Criminal Record Check
• Must be 18 years of age
