Antique Colt 1889 in .41 Long Colt - Exceptional

This very fine example of a Colt 1889 in .41 Long Colt was born in 1894 and still presents well enough that it should be in a museum. Smooth action in SA and DA and a great bore. Really tight cylinder lockup in battery, excellent metal, and outstanding, reflective original blue finish. Nice Colt script grips with typical small chips at the heels. This is one of the finest examples of an early 1889 to be found. A treasure and a rare opportunity from an advanced collection.
