For close quarter shooting with a true one power magnification or the ability to turn up to 6 magnification and reach out to 400 meters, the S6 1-6 variable power scope does it all.
It uses a horseshoe (like a Broken Circle-Dot) reticle which, according to Gestalt psychology, draws the eye faster to the center than a traditional crosshair.
Faster acquisition speed to deal with the unknown.
The reticle is glass etched, and during the day does not need any power. But should night fall, the reticle illuminates in various brightnesses of red or green to give contrast to dark backgrounds.
The S6 has been designed with a 30mm 6061 tube with particular care to avoid the dark ring that appears in other low power variable optics when set to their magnification extremes.
For competition, the low power variable optic is the new standard. The S6 takes this farther by offering a generous 4" eye relief making this a scope that can be used from awkward positions, on the run or from various cover positions.
The S6 includes picatinny mounted scope rings.
A series of graduated dots allow for holdover for distance shots. These graduations are not caliber specific allowing the end user to put this scope on any caliber rifle and zero it for a distance they think is appropriate.

Often Specter Arms gets asked for a good scope for a light rifle; a 22 or a 223. With the budget friendly X4 scope, people now have a inexpensive low power variable optic packed with a variety of useful features.
Its compact size and weight don't add much in terms of bulk keeping your favorite plinker light and easy to carry. In fact the X4 measures only 9.1" long.
Its 1-4 magnification is plenty to shoot out comfortably to 200 meters placing this optic as a viable contender as an entry level 3 gun scope.
It uses 1" rings which makes its compatible with a lot of older rifles designed with only 1" rings in mind. Picatinny rings are included.
Finally, an illuminated reticle gives a nice contrast when shooting at dark backgrounds or in low light.
