Cooey Model 600 is a utilitarian .22 bolt-actions fed from a tubular magazine that was made by H. W. Cooey Machine & Arms Company. The Cooey Model 600 is an updated Model 60 version made by Winchester Repeating Arms after its purchase of Cooey which can be identified by the addition of a safety notch in the receiver that can be used to hold and disable the striker. They are unusual for being able to accept .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle and to accomplish this the magazine tube (not just its internal parts) moves during bolt operation. These were produced in Canada for domestic sale.
