Purebred Maremma Sheepdog puppies. This is the last litter we will be getting from our Finland import - Duke. Unfortunatly Duke passed away not long after siring this litter. Jade whelped on September 15th and we currently have 5 male puppies available. The parents of these puppies (Jade and Mareus Star Arcturus, whom we call Duke) are registered Maremmano-Abruzzese Sheepdogs. This breed is famous for their strong livestock guarding instincts, and our dogs have proven to have those same strong instincts. Both Jade and Duke have bonded well with our sheep and stay close to the flock where they are most effective as guardians. We have never lost a sheep to predators with a Maremma on duty. Our puppies are born and raised with sheep and bond with them at an early age, they also love their people and make excellent home and yard guardians.
