Selling/trading a Berthier Model 1892 Carbine Sporter in 8mm Lebel. Overall it's in excellent shape for its age. 2nd year production gun (1893), 18" barrel with saddle ring, numbers matching. Was recently stripped of its original cosmoline, completely cleaned, and has not been fired since. Steel has faded in colour but is in excellent shape throughout. Stock shows numerous arsenal repairs which gives it a unique look, in very solid shape overall. Bore is excellent. Overall a very unique rifle. Looking for $395 shipped.
