Its proven Inertia Driven® System shoots 2-3/4-inch, 3-inch and 3-1/2-inch shells without adjustment. It boasts a third generation ComforTech™ 3 stock and recoil pad with extra-soft cheek pad reduces recoil up to 48% and muzzle climb by 15% without moving parts or extra weight. In fact, the Super Black Eagle 3 weighs 13% to 15% less than similar shotguns. It features a AirTouch dimpled-grip checkering pattern for a firm grasp. Its larger trigger guard has 30% more room that is perfect for a gloved finger during cold waterfowl weather. It also features an oversized bolt handle and bolt release, patented detent bolt lockup, funneled loading port, two-piece shell latch, easy drop lever and ergonomic magazine cap and a Crio®-treated barrel. BE.S.T. (Benelli Surface Treatment) is a new proprietary finishing technology developed by engineers and scientists at Benelli’s manufacturing headquarters. This coating protects steel with a tough, impenetrable armor that stops rust and corrosion. Any treated parts with the Benelli Surface Treatment will have 25 years warranty.
