Winchester Model 72 .22 LR

Winchester Model 72 was made from 1938 to 1959, The rifle is fitted with a 25 inch tapered barrel, 2/3 length magazine tube, frame mounted aperture sight (Target Model) and bead front sight (Target Model) with sight hood. Barrel chambered in .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle,bore is excellent,it will hold 20 .22 Short cartridges, 16 rounds of .22 Long, and 15 of .22 Long Rifle. The capability of the 72 to feed shorts-longs and LR's is due to its versatile tubular magazine and lifter design.
