MAY 7, 2023 - Forth anniversary. News Update; By acquiring a quality bore scope, I was able to see the problem with barrel. The rifling lands in front of the chamber had separated from barrel for about 1.25" and 1 land was protruding into bore. Cut off 2" of barrel chamber end. Machined new barrel end to fit receiver tighter by .002" and rechambered for 22 short only. At range gun shot 1/4" - 5 shot group at 50 yds. shooting CCI 22 short - 27 gr. HP. Seems the rifling is not shot out but can not understand rifling land separation.

Taking offers for a CZ 455 drop-in Lilja Matchgrade Stainless barrel. Barrel is 21 inch. Barrel rifling was shot out at under 2500 rounds of CCI 22 shorts 29gr. HP. Barrel could be used to shoot 22 shotshells as every thin rifling at muzzle end would work as a choke. In the process of installing a barrel liner, I found hard spot that's just in front of the chamber. Possible part of the barrel rifling land. NO WARRANTY or REFUND from LILJA.
