A nice example of the Savage Model 1906. This rifle is known as being one of the early successful attempts at designing a reliable and compact pump action 22 caliber rifle. Its production spanned a period when firearm technology was evolving and innovations like the pump action mechanism were gaining popularity. This example boasts a smooth action which is fed by a five round magazine. The 24 inch hexagon barrel has a few dings and the receiver shows some minor corrosion, but overall the rifle has weathered the last 110 years or so in fine form. This 1906 would make a fine addition to any rimfire collection.
