Selling my Weatherby Backcountry in 6.5 creedmoor. Second owner but doesn’t appear to be shot much. I’ve put 20 rounds through it testing different factory ammo. Hornady 143gr ELD-X shoots right at 1 moa. Comes with muzzle break and thread protector. Currently sighted in to the ELD-X with a 200 yard zero
Optic: Leupold VX3 3.5-10x 40 CDS in talley one piece rings/ bases. Alumina caps not included.
Total weight with the scope, rings and scope caps is 6 lbs 4.6 oz, save around 1.5 oz without the caps. Honestly the setup is so light it feels fake. The creedmoor is tame enough that recoil isn’t an issue even without the brake. Very nice, compact rifle to hike all day with.
Only trade would be another lightweight rifle in 280ai.
Rifle with scope and rings: $3300 plus shipping
Bare rifle : $2600 plus shipping
Have around 1 box of ELDX that can be negotiated for local sale.
Have 49 new Hornady brass that could be sold with the rifle as well.
