Cold Lake Marlins - Swim Coach required
Do you have a great attitude with kids? Looking to improve your local community and be a role model for local youngsters? Cold Lake Marlins are looking to recruit swim coaches to instruct during the upcoming swim season commencing Sept 2022 until June 2023 Cold Lake Marlins coaches will work closely with club members to help achieve appropriate personal goals in developing both junior and competitive swimmers.
Roles and responsibilities
Swim Coaches organize, manage and perform swimming instruction for all club members, he / she will work in conjunction with the Club’s Executive Committee in order to fulfill the required duties.
Expectations
Cold Lake Marlins Swim Coaches are expected to be at the pool a minimum of 2-3 days per week during assigned practice timings of 4:30 pm until 6:00 pm to conduct coaching duties. Coaches will instruct their assigned patrons according to their level: FUNdementals, bridge, performance or elite. Swim Coaches may be required to work some weekends and travel within Alberta to support competitive athletes.
Qualifications
Cold Lake Marlins require Swim AB community Coach and/or 101 Certification, minimum $2,000,000 liability insurance through SWIM AB and a valid Vulnerability Sector Police Check (VS). All must be valid at the time of contract certification.
Salary
TBC based upon experience and qualifications (community coach, Swim 101, or Swim 201 certified).
