1898 Mauser (GeW 98) Rifle Quillback Bayonet

Offered for the Mauser or bayonet collector is a fine example of a pre WW1 1898 contract bayonet and scabbard.
2 piece wooden grips, steel mounted leather scabbard and matched numbers.
No rust or pitting, 20.75" blade has not been sharpened and the edge is free of nicks. Leather scabbard has no cracks and stitched seam is tight. Maker marked Simson &Co, Suhl.
